Censuses and economic yearbooks are a great source of data about the economic and social life of interwar Yugoslavia. In the framework of an ongoing investigation about migration and cooperation between Yugoslavia and Latin America, I’ve been working with some data concerning Yugoslav intercontinental mobility.
Here you can find a animated bar chart with the most important destinations of Yugoslav emigrants in the 1920s and 1930s. The dataset produced on the basis of Yugoslav economic yearbooks is available in a CSV and is available for anyone to reuse if properly cited: Emigrants_1921-1939
